Reconnecting with A-league fans

The Wanderers needed to find a way to reconnect with A-league fans to grow their membership base and match day attendance numbers despite a gradual decline in fans numbers across the greater A-league code.

Murmur was tasked with boosting the Wanderers digital capability to build interest in the club, reactivate old fans, convert new fans, and build awareness of the team throughout Sydney.

Full-funnel digital marketing strategy

A full-funnel digital marketing strategy consisting of cheap, high-reach display and video advertising coupled with robust lower funnel social media retargeting to maximise conversions.

1st party data was used to build lookalikes and refine our audience.

All activity was underpinned with a search strategy covering potential fans looking for tickets to upcoming games.
