Digital Media Executive

Murmur is looking to build their digital media team and are searching for a Digital Media Executive to support the media department. The right person is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the accounts, working across Paid Search, Paid Social and Display. He or She will be working with the Senior Performance Media Manager and wider team to deliver exceptional results and ensuring objectives are being met.


Reporting to the Senior Media Manager, the Digital Marketing Specialist will be the main contact to plan and manage all media campaigns for their client patch across digital channels including, but not limited to, SEM, Paid Social, Display and Shopping.

The successful candidate is responsible for planning, implementing and managing digital media channels for their client patch including, but not limited to:

        • SEM (PPC),
        • Paid Social, and
        • Display Advertising.

You will work with the Senior Media Manager and wider team to deliver exceptional results, ensure client objectives are being met, and maintain a healthy client relationship.

What You’ll Be Doing

        • Supporting the Media Team to plan, schedule, manage, implement and report on advertising campaigns
        • Campaign optimisation across different platforms
        • Assisting with Copywriting and Creative Brainstorming for clients
        • Using a combination of software tools and web analytics and insights from each platform to develop detailed reports for paid campaigns activity, with recommendations and new opportunities for clients
        • General Project and Account Management
        • Able to collaborate with a wider team on creating media plans and delivering clients’ business objectives
        • Performance Media Execution


        • At least 1 year of SEM and Paid Social/ Display experience
        • Established track record in execution and implementation of successful digital campaigns
        • An understanding of digital advertising and building paid media campaigns, including placement of pixels, customer data onboarding and custom audience creation
        • Experience in creating and managing campaign reporting for clients
        • Knowledge of analytics and bid management platforms (highly desirable)
        • Strong analytical and numerical skills, logical thinker and high attention to detail
        • A team player who has excellent communication skills, takes ownership and enjoys executing and delivering exceptional results
        • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment & confident with working towards deadlines

Skills & Expertise:

        • 1 or more years of similar experience in a digital marketing or agency role
        • Proven experience &/or certification with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Paid Social (e.g. Facebook Business Manager), and Google Display.

Other Skills & Expertise

        • Strong communications skills and previous experience communicating with clients
        • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be able to juggle multiple tasks and projects;
        • Ability to compile and analyse performance data and metrics to inform decision-making & ongoing marketing activities
        • Be familiar with marketing methods and best-practices
        • Proven ability to interpret a client brief and provide a detailed, data driven response in the form of a media proposal or media plan.
        • Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
